After Hours, competition Building for Bouwkunde
Arthur Nuss, Yousef Morsy, Aday Citgez, Anne Haga and Tjeerd Bloothoofd
The ground floor (MAF) is placed on the building alignment of the TU-Delft campus grid, connected to the city fabric and the rest of the world. It’s a free, ‘ambient’, extrovert space, that provides conditions for interaction on a large scale. Here people come from all over the world to share knowledge with students and visitors.
The knowedge exchange floor (KEF) is a free, student-onely floor. Enclosed by student facilities and bordered by two facades of design studio’s. The floor will be used for presentations, free design space, wifi centre, drinking coffee, etc. In contrast to the secluded design studio’s (where you can work in peace), you can here pick up a broad spectrum of information in an un-compulsory environment.
