Tomas Beranek studied architecture and urban planning in the Czech city of Prague and Finnish Tampere, with a focus on innovation.
As a Senior Architect, Tomas leads design projects at Global Architects and ensures that our architectural solutions meet the needs of the client, legal standards, and aesthetic goals. Tomas oversees project phases from concept to completion, manages timelines and budgets, and works closely with clients, consultants, and team members. His role includes guiding junior architects, promoting sustainable design practices, and solving project challenges to deliver innovative, high-quality results.
Jony Nederend studied Architecture at TU Delft, specializing in RMIT Architecture. He is passionate about transforming vacant factory buildings into new urban districts—a dynamic interplay between existing and new architecture. He also contributed to the reconstruction of Nepal.
Jony Nederend is an experienced architect and project manager with a diverse background, from his graduation at TU Delft to nearly seven years of working at Global Architects. As a team player, Jony takes a leading role in projects and strengthens collaboration with colleagues and contractors. He guides both private and business clients through the entire process, from design to delivery, focusing on user-centered, cost-conscious solutions. Jony’s goal is to deliver high-quality architecture that perfectly matches the client’s needs, within time and budget.
Kallia Theodoraki earned her degree in Architectural Engineering from NTU Athens. In her thesis project, she focused on the redevelopment of local industrial heritage. Along with a sustainable design study in Berlin, she completed an MSc in Building Technology at TU Delft and graduated with a thesis on Solar-Cooling Facades.
Since 2019, Kallia has been a project architect and technical designer at Global Architects in The Hague, where she has contributed to more than 100 projects in all design phases, from concept development to final documentation. She is passionate about sustainable design, material technology, and building engineering, bringing both creativity and technical precision to her work. Her role includes developing architectural concepts, producing detailed technical drawings and documentation, handling building permit applications, and closely collaborating with clients to bring their vision to life. She is also committed to supporting the next generation of designers, mentoring interns, and helping them build a strong foundation in the field.
Leonardo Neil is a young, motivated architectural designer who developed his skills in New Zealand through studies and work in both new construction and renovation projects.
Leonardo Neil possesses a broad skill set that covers all phases of architectural design, from initial concept development to final execution. With his expertise in 3D modeling, spatial planning, and sustainable design, he brings projects to life with a deep understanding of both aesthetics and functionality. His background in carpentry enhances his technical knowledge, allowing him to create designs that are not only visually appealing but also structurally sound. Leonardo’s precision and attention to detail ensure that each project meets the highest standards, turning the client’s vision into beautifully realized, sustainable spaces.
Through a selection of projects completed by Global Architects over the past 15 years across four project divisions: Villas, Apartment Buildings, Renovation, and Hospitality, the key focus areas and DNA of the firm are clearly reflected.
