The renovation of a tradional Dutch mansion in the Statenkwartier in The Hague has been finished. The clients is a family from France which first rented a house in the same neighbourhood and finally bought their dream house. In the end of 2018 and beginning of 2019 it has been renovated to a modern house which respects the tradional details of the mansion.

Being expats and buying an old house in a new country is quite challenging.
Global Architects made our dream come true. They shared their knowledge, experience, address book but they were also the perfect interface between us and the country, which is priceless.

Behind the Kitchen element is a small office tucked away with a bookshelf.

In the middle of the room is an open kitchen  this allows connection to the back garden.

The following sustainable measures were implemented during the home renovation;
